"How to Iron a Shirt," Demonstration Speech, July 16, 2009

Thanks, Sholom, for teaching us how to iron a shirt! This demonstration speech followed by the next narrative/storytelling, on this coming Monday and Tuesday, are a good way to loosen up our body language, voice, and diction before the final expository/extemporaneous speech of this coming Wednesday and Thursday.
The informative and 2 persuasive speeches including the 3 warm-up speeches completed thus far have all taken place in just 4 weeks of solid days of video-recorded classwork Monday through Thursday. It's a great experience seeing how you have each improved in just 4 weeks of almost daily classroom and online practice speaking and critiquing one another.
In the 3rd period class tonight, a student taught us how to fold a shirt, so I will post that next along with six more samples of the great demonstration speeches delivered this evening, July 16, 2009.
Keep up the good work, Everyone!

awsome this speech can definitly save me some money in the future. i feel there were times where you were struggling to find something to say. You then just came up with random facts the actual idea though was good and you definitly tought it well you show a level of comfort unlike most and the flow is consistent once you know what you want to say with a little more preperation you wouldnt have those gaps and it would be a great speech now only good
